One person was injured after a minivan struck a utility pole and rolled over on Route 47 in Woodstock Monday morning.

The Woodstock Fire Rescue District responded at around 8:20 a.m. Monday morning to a report of a one vehicle car accident near the 3000 block of South Route 47 (3/4 mile south of Route 14).

When the fire department arrived they found a minivan rolled over and a utility pole damaged along with power lines down on the vehicle.

Fire officials said that a passerby helped remove the driver from the minivan before first responders arrived.

Flight For Life was called to the scene and transported the driver to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. The injuries to the victim are reportedly not life-threatening.

AT&T and ComEd were called the scene due to a minor power and Internet outage that has since been restored.
