At 10:53 PM, the Lake Forest Fire & police Departments were dispatched for a report of a train on fire on NB Rt 41, 1/4 mile North of Deerpath Rd. Engine 421 and Battalion 42 were initially due along with Lake Forest Police.
Dispatch then update the units responding that it was a Union Pacific train with something on fire on the second train car. After fire department arrived on scene, a short while later they reported the fire was out. Battalion 42 also reported they were going to be on scene for a little bit longer while they finished up.
