Flight For Life requested for traumatic injury on Macarthur Ave in Wonder Lake

Wonder Lake Fire Department responded to a report of a male who fell about 15 feet off a ladder at the 7200 Block of Macarthur Ave in Wonder Lake at 11:04 AM. It was originally reported that the male patient was conscious and alert, but bleeding.

Once the Wonder Lake Fire Department got on scene, they requested Flight For Life to their fire station #1 at 4300 East Wonder Lake Rd and reported he had been unconscious but was now conscious with serious injuries from the fall. When Flight For Life was en-route, they had an ETA of 13 minutes. Wonder Lake had then put out a general alarm for a crew to go to station #1 for the landing zone setup at 11:13 AM.

Flight For Life landed and the patient was then airlifted to Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville. The helicopter took off at around 11:38 AM. They landed at Condell at around 11:52 AM.
