The Lake Forest Fire Department were dispatched to a report of a tree on fire at around 10:04 PM Saturday night. It was reported as a tree on fire at 251 Butler Drive in Lake Forest. While en route, dispatch advised it was a tree fire next to a shed, the shed was then on fire, they advised the shed fire was “going pretty good”. Engine 421, Engine 423, Battalion 42, Battalion 51?, and Truck 53 were then due.

Dispatch also advised the caller believed it was started from a lightning strike, which struck the tree and started it on fire which then spread to the shed. The caller also advised it was not close to the residence at the time. Companies are currently on the scene and are operating on White Fireground.
