The Lake Zurich Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a head-on accident with injuries in North Barrington on Rt 59 at Rt 22 at around 4:55 PM Wednesday. Dispatch advised it was involving a sedan and a SUV, there were multiple 911 calls on it. Reported in the middle of the intersection. Engine 1, Ambulance 2, and Battalion 206 were due.
Upon arrival of Ambulance 2, they reported two vehicles involved with heavy damage. No entrapment was reported. Engine 1 got on scene and is currently mitigating the hazards of the vehicles. Ambulance 2 reported there was one transport and one refusal.
