The Richmond Fire Department and Spring Grove Fire Department were on scene of a fatal motorcycle accident. They were dispatched at around 9:29 AM Sunday morning to Rt 173 & Winn Rd in Richmond for a report of a motorcycle down in the roadway.

Shortly after arrival, they requested Flight For Life to the scene due to serious injuries to the motorcyclist. Flight For Life had a 15 minute ETA, and are going to be landing on a farm off of Richardson Rd. It is unknown if a car is involved or if it was just the motorcycle.

UPDATE: Flight For Life has been cancelled, they are now transporting the patient by ambulance to Centegra Hospital McHenry due to the patient being in full arrest, not conscious, and not breathing.

UPDATE 2: No other vehicles were involved in this accident per police.

UPDATE 3: According to the Northwest Herald, the motorcyclist has died. The victim was pronounced dead after about an hour and 40 minutes at the hospital.
