The Wauconda Fire Department was dispatched for a report of a dump truck on fire on Gilmer Road, South of Rt 120 in Volo at around 12:28 PM Monday. The Wauconda Fire Department Engine 343 was dispatched. While en-route, dispatch advised that it was a Chevrolet Dump Truck on fire, reported to be an engine compartment fire. Lake county Sheriff’s Office was also dispatched.
