The Barrington Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a structure fire at 400 South Grove Ave in Barrington Sunday night at around 7:51 PM. Auto-Aid that was dispatched was Lake Zurich Engine, Fox River Grove Engine, Long Grove Ambulance, Cary Squad, and Palatine Rural Engine.
Upon arrival of Battalion 36, he reported a working fire in a residential structure. Shortly after, command advised water was on the fire and no one was inside the house, there was an all clear on the structure. Command soon requested a Barrington-Countryside Engine and for the Long Grove Ambulance to go change of quarters instead of to the scene.
