The Antioch Fire Department was dispatched today at around 3:59 PM Thursday afternoon to a report of an accident with injuries at 24078 West Grass Lake Rd in Antioch. This address is between Rt 59 and Rt 83 on Grass Lake Rd in Antioch.
Upon further details, dispatch advised that a school bus and another vehicle were involved. It was then reported that there were people trapped in one of the vehicles, it is unknown if it was the school bus or the car.
Ambulance 211, Engine 211, and Battalion 21 were initially due. Fire Companies were then on scene and confirmed there was entrapment. Command requested multiple ambulances to the scene and mutual aid from Fox Lake and Lake Villa.
