A woman need to be extricated from a vehicle following an accident in Bull Valley early Friday afternoon.
According to police, a Ford Focus, driven by an unidentified driver, was traveling westbound on Bull Valley Rd. around 12:08 p.m., when it was struck on the passenger side after attempting a southbound turn onto Orchard Dr. in front of an eastbound pickup truck.
The impact sent both vehicles off the roadway. The passenger in the Ford required extrication and was subsequently transported to Centegra – Hospital McHenry by the McHenry Township Fire Protection District.
No other parties involved required transport. Citations against the driver have not been released at this time.
