The Zion Police Department and the Lake County Major Crime Task Force have made an arrest in the murder of Nathaniel Lang at a gas station in Zion Monday evening.
The murder took place at the Mobil Gas Station, 2500 Sheridan Road, at 6:17 pm on Monday.
Bernardino Giustino, 21 years old from Zion, has been charged with First Degree Murder in connection with this incident. Giustino was taken for a bond hearing this afternoon. Bond was set at $2,000,000.
The investigation revealed that the victim and the alleged offender knew each other and engaged in an argument over drugs while at the Mobil Gas Station. Giustino allegedly left, returned with a knife, and confronted the victim before fatally stabbing him.
