Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 12200 block of West 29th Street, Beach Park, for a report of gunshots fired Sunday morning at around 3:00 AM.
When sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene, they located shell casings in the area of where the shots were reported.
Sheriff’s deputies and detectives spoke with witnesses and are reviewing area surveillance videos. Preliminary investigation indicates a silver Pontiac Grand Prix was likely involved in the incident. The Pontiac fled the scene immediately after the shots were fired.
Nobody was shot during the incident, however, sheriff’s detectives continue to investigate.
