The Waukegan Police Department responded at around 1:40 a.m. to the Lakehurst Events facility in the 300 block of Lakehurst Road for a report of shots fired in the parking lot, according to Waukegan Police Department Commander Joe Florip.

It was believed that no one was injured, Commander Florip said.

Police arrested Mark Fields, 26-years-old, of Waukegan, and he was charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm.

Fields was taken to bond court over the weekend and given a bond of $75,000. He posted bail and will appear in court again on July 25.
