**UPDATE: FEMALE HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE**
A 16-year-old female that went for a bike ride this morning in Crystal Lake has gone missing and her bicycle has been found.
According to a missing person flyer, Skylar Wickersty, 16, of Crystal Lake was last seen going for a bike ride at around 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning heading towards Veteran Acres park on Walkup Road in Crystal Lake.
Wickersty’s pink Schwinn 10-speed bicycle was found but she is still missing as of 8:00 p.m. Thursday night. Search teams are currently look for her.
She’s described as a white female with short brown hair, 5’2″ in height, last seen wearing blue shorts and a shirt, according to her mom.
