The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said that the missing 60-year-old man from Wadsworth has been found safe.
Authorities said that John K. Shaffstall was last seen on Monday. He went missing from the 5600 block of Hanssen Road in Wadsworth. Shaffstall was reported missing to police Tuesday.
He was last seen walking away from his residence at around 9:00 a.m. on Monday. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said that his family had concerns regarding his physical and mental well-being and that he does not have a cellphone.
On Monday when Shaffstall was last seen, he was walking northbound on Frontage Road in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin near I-94 and 104th Street at around 12:45 p.m..
Authorities said Tuesday afternoon that Shaffstall was located safe in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
“Thank you to the community for helping spread the message, in our efforts to locate Mr. Shaffstall,” officials said in a statement.
