Three armed robbery suspects are in custody following a large police manhunt Wednesday evening in Lincolnshire.

At around 7:30 p.m., a Lincolnshire police officer initiated a traffic stop after spotting a U-Haul truck that was involved in an armed robbery earlier in Buffalo Grove.

The U-Haul truck fled from the officer where it then crashed near Milwaukee Avenue and Olde Half Day Road in Lincolnshire. Three male black suspects wearing ski masks, who were armed and dangerous, ran from the truck and a manhunt search began.

Numerous police departments, canine units, SWAT, and police helicopters were called to the scene to help with the search. The Village of Lincolnshire issued a public safety alert in a Facebook Post at around 9:00 p.m. urging residents and people in the area to stay inside and lock their doors.
