Police have arrested a Waukegan man who was found with over 130 bags of heroin in his car at a park in McHenry.
According to the McHenry Police Department, officers arrested Raymond P. Teague, 30, of the 3000 block of Grand Avenue in Waukegan, at Whispering Oaks Park, 4301 Front Royal Drive in McHenry.
McHenry Deputy Police Chief John Birk said that on Sunday at 7:47 p.m. police were dispatched to the park after someone reported a suspicious vehicle with people sleeping in it.
Police officers arrived and ended up finding 134 bags of heroin in Teague’s possession inside the vehicle.
According to court records, he was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of heroin with intent to deliver, and delivery of a controlled substance on park property.
Teague is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning. His bond was set at $250,000.
