No one was injured after a shooting left a house struck by a bullet in Woodstock early Friday morning, the Woodstock Police Department said.

On Friday at around 3:25 a.m., the Woodstock Police Department responded to the 700 block of Barbary Lane in Woodstock for a report of someone hearing gunshots. Police officers arrived and found a home that had been struck by at least one bullet. Police officials said that there are no known injuries from the shooting. No suspects have been arrested yet.

The Woodstock Police Department Criminal Investigations Division detectives were at the scene collecting evidence.

“The investigation will continue until every piece of known information and evidence has been collected and processed that will, hopefully, lead to an arrest and successful prosecution of the perpetrator,” Woodstock Police Chief John Lieb said in a statement.

The Woodstock Police Department Patrol Division will be increasing their patrols of the area in an effort, officials said. The public is asked to report any suspicious behavior to police.

Police are not releasing more information because of the open investigation.
