**UPDATE: Man has been located at a home in Island Lake and sheriff’s officials have confirmed he is safe**

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help in finding a missing 26-year-old suicidal man from Wauconda.

Glenn Stojak, 26, of the 25600 block of West Blakely Parkway in Wauconda, was reported missing by a family member on Tuesday, sheriff’s officials said. Authorities said that he left his home in the 25600 block of West Blakely Parkway in Wauconda and told a family member he was going hurt himself.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said that later in the day on Tuesday they learned that Stojak may be in the Maywood, Illinois area; however, on Wednesday authorities learned new information indicating Stojak was possibly in the Island Lake area.

Officials said that Stojak is listed as missing and endangered and his clothing description is unknown.

Police are asking the public to call 911 if they see Stojak or have any information on his location.
