Two men are facing charges after police found 138 grams of marijuana during a search warrant in Libertyville.
The Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group and Libertyville Police Department conducted a search warrant at 5:35 p.m. on Tuesday at 726 Paradise Lane in Libertyville, officials said.
The search warrant was the result of a drug investigation by the Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group. The search resulted in 138 grams of marijuana and other associated drug paraphernalia being seized, authorities said.
Justin M. Quist, 25, of 726 Paradise Lane in Libertyville, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Luis M. Ramirez, 24, of 502 Dublin Drive in Mundelein, was also arrested. He was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.
Both Quist and Ramirez were processed at the Libertyville Police Department. Quist was transferred to the Lake County Jail to await bond court. Ramirez was released from the Libertyville Police Department after posting bond.
