A man who was found shot in a driveway of a condo in Hainesville died early Saturday morning.
Grayslake police were called to 110 West Big Horn Drive in Hainesville at 11:26 p.m. on Friday for a report of a domestic violence call.
When police arrived they found a 38-year-old man, whose identity has not yet been released, who had been shot and was face down on the driveway. Three other occupants of the condo were also outside, along with the gun that was used to shoot the man, Grayslake police said.
The man was transported by ambulance to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville and pronounced dead at 12:35 a.m. on Saturday.
Police said that the shooting was an isolated incident and the public isn’t in danger. No charges have been filed yet.
The Lake County Coroner’s Office has scheduled an autopsy for Monday. The Lake County Major Crime Task Force and the Grayslake police are investigating the shooting.
