The FBI is searching for a man who robbed a TCF Bank in Huntley on Sunday.

According to FBI Special Agent Garrett Croon, the robbery happened at 3:45 p.m. on Sunday at the TCF Bank branch inside the Jewel-Osco grocery store at 13200 Village Green Drive in Huntley.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money. The FBI believes he is a serial bank robber. He is described as 5-foot-4, wearing a wig and sunglasses.

According to initial police radio traffic from the robbery, the suspect implied he had a weapon but did not show it.

A $1,000 reward is being offered by the FBI for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call either the FBI at 312-421-6700 or the Huntley Police Department at 847-515-5333. You can also text TIP HUNTLEY followed by your message to 8887777.
