Deerfield police said that they have identified a person of interest in Friday’s bank robbery.
The Deerfield Police Department said that at 4:52 p.m. a man robbed the Deerfield Bank & Trust at 660 Deerfield Road. Police said that the man walked in and took a slip of paper and wrote, “I need your money now!” and gave it to the teller.
The suspect took more than $5,000 and fled into a nearby neighborhood to the north. Police said they have interviewed more than 25 witnesses so far.
