The Lake County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals apprehended two people with warrants on Wednesday, officials said.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Team and U.S. Marshals Service – Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended Dominic J. Longmire, 20, of the 300 block of North Green Bay Road in Waukegan.
Authorities said that Longmire had an active felony failure to appear arrest warrant for robbery, which carries a $700,000 bond. The original charges were the result of a robbery in Waukegan.
Police learned that Longmire was living at a residence in the 1800 block of 104th Street in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. When police went to the home, they learned Longmire recently left the residence.
One of the residents of the home, Jessica L. Tanner, 36, was found to have an active failure to appear arrest warrant for driving under the influence in Lake County, police said. Tanner was arrested and transported to the Kenosha County Jail where she remains held pending extradition.
Police later located Longmire at his Waukegan home. He was arrested without incident and transported to the Lake County Jail where he remains held. Longmire is next due in court on January 11.
