No injuries were reported after a 54-year-old Antioch woman accidentally drove a pickup truck into a building on Monday.

The Antioch Police Department and Antioch Fire District were called at 7:47 a.m. to the Depot Station Plaza, 311 West Depot Street, for a pickup truck that crashed through the front of the building.

Emergency crews arrived and found a 2005 Dodge Ram, driven by a 54-year-old Antioch woman, that crashed through the front wall ofย Hopes Playground Pediatric Therapy Center.

Authorities said that the woman “failed to stop the truck as it pulled into a parking slot.” The pickup truck entered just over five feet into the building and there were no injuries reported, officials said.

“The preliminary investigation indicated that driver error was likely the cause of the crash, and no charges are expected as a result of the incident,” the Antioch Police Department said.

The damage to the building was mostly cosmetic, however a portion of Hopes Playground Pediatric Therapy Center will be closed until repairs can be made, officials said.
