FBI investigating after Richmond bank robbery

The FBI is investigating after a man robbed the McHenry Savings Bank in Richmond on Friday morning.

According to FBI Special Agent Garrett Croon, the McHenry Savings Bank branch located at 10520 Main Street in Richmond was robbed around 11:15 a.m. on Friday.

FBI Special Agent Garrett Croon said that the suspect was a thin male white in his late 20s. He wore a tan coat, orange knit hat, acid-washed jeans and black tennis shoes.

No injuries were reported during the robbery and the FBI said it was a “non-takeover” robbery.┬áThe man did not display a weapon or imply that he had one. No additional details were released by the FBI.

Richmond police did not release any information about the incident.
