The woman that died after being shot during a home invasion that left two others injured in Zion on Friday has been identified.

Police were called at 1:40 p.m. Friday to 2816 Edina Boulevard in Zion for a report of a home invasion. Police found three adults, between the age of 24-43, who were shot inside the house.

Kaleah Beville, 36, of Zion, was identified on Monday as the victim who died after being shot multiple times during the home invasion.

Beville was transported by a Flight For Life medical helicopter to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville with life-threatening injuries. She was later pronounced dead.

The Lake County Coroner’s Office said that the investigation into the exact circumstances of her death is ongoing. An autopsy performed on Monday confirmed she died from multiple gunshot wounds. Toxicology testing is pending.

The incident happened at 2816 Edina Boulevard in Zion.

Two other people, a man and woman, were also shot during the home invasion. They were ground transported by ambulance to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Their conditions have not yet been released.

Police said that this was a targeted incident and there appears to be no threat to the general public.

The Lake County Major Crime Task Force and Zion Police Department are investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Zion Police Department at 847-872-8000.
