Zion police ask for public’s help in Jewel-Osco armed robbery

Police are investigating after an armed robbery happened at the Jewel-Osco in Zion last month.

The Zion Police Department was called at 11:47 p.m. on January 31 to the Jewel-Osco, 1400 21st Street in Zion, for an armed robbery.

On Tuesday, the Zion Police Department released three surveillance camera photos of the suspect involved in the armed robbery. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

Authorities did not release any additional information about the robbery.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the Zion Police Department at 847-872-8000 or the Lake County Crime Stoppers at 847-662-2222.
