Keith L. Lang, 30, of Crystal Lake

A 30-year-old Crystal Lake man was found with guns, ammunition and drugs when police arrested him on a drug induced homicide warrant Wednesday.

The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Task Force arrested Keith L. Lang, 30, of Crystal Lake on Wednesday. He was charged with drug induced homicide, three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office said that last year in September, 23-year-old Scott Koivisto was found dead at a home in the 3100 block of Bull Valley Road in McHenry. Detectives found evidence at the scene that the man had injected a heroin and fentanyl mix which caused his death.

An eight-month investigation led authorities to issue an arrest warrant for Lang. While serving the warrant on Wednesday at Lang’s residence, detectives saw a gun and ammunition.
