A man was airlifted by Flight For Life on Thursday after crashing his motorcycle in Bull Valley.
The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office and the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District were called around 7:45 a.m. Thursday to a report of a crash involving a motorcycle in the 1000 block of Cold Springs Road in Bull Valley, which is south of Wonder Lake and east of Woodstock.
Emergency crews arrived and found a single motorcycle involved in the crash on Cold Springs Road south of Thompson Road near the Boone Creek Conservation Area.
The man was first ground transported by ambulance to Centegra Hospital – McHenry at the Flight For Life helipad. The man was transferred to the helicopter and flown to a Level 1 trauma center in unknown condition.
Requests for more information from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office had not been returned as of Friday afternoon.
