The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man who tried robbing a bank in Zion on Saturday.

Authorities described the suspect as a medium built male black between the age of 40 and 50 with black hair, a flannel short-sleeved shirt and dark pants.

The FBI said that the man tried robbing the PNC Bank at 2900 Sheridan Road in Zion on Saturday around 12:45 p.m. Specifics about the robbery have not been released.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest, the FBI said.
