Three men, including two who had outstanding warrants, are facing charges after police found drugs and guns in a Waukegan home on Friday.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Team and U.S. Marshals went to a residence in the 1100 block of Beach Rd in Waukegan to search for two wanted men.
Felix E. Guadarrama, 25, of the 1100 block of Drew Ln in Waukegan, had warrants for criminal damage to property and escape.
The second wanted man, Chase J. Parthe, 27, of the 1100 block of Beach Rd in Waukegan, had a warrant for failure to report a change of address as a violent offender. Parthe is a documented street gang member, authorities said.
Lake County Sheriff Detective Rebecca Loeb said that cocaine and a gun were located in plain view inside the home when police took the two men into custody.
52 grams of cocaine, a revolver style handgun, a stolen semi-automatic handgun, drug paraphernalia and about $1,100 in cash were seized from the residence.
Riley J. Markus, 25, of the 1900 block of Kenton Ln in Libertyville, was also in the residence at the time and police found him in possession of cocaine and marijuana. He was charged with attempt possession of a controlled substance.
Guadarrama was charged with unlawful possession of controlled substance.
Parthe was charged with unlawful possession of controlled substance, unlawful possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.
