Anne M. Stetson, 47, and James C. Pease, 50.

A couple who had active arrest warrants were found with meth and drug equipment in a Wadsworth motel when police arrested them.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Team and U.S. Marshals arrested Anne M. Stetson, 47, and James C. Pease, 50, who both lived at the Rosecrans Motel, 41550 North Route 41 in Wadsworth.

Pease had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on a burglary charge. Stetson had an active arrest warrant for theft.

“The Lake County Sheriff’s Warrants Team developed information the pair were living in a motel in the 41500 block of North Route 41,” Lake County Sheriff Sgt. Christopher Covelli said.

Police set up surveillance and located both inside a motel room, Covelli said. Both were apprehended without incident and Pease was found to be in possession of methamphetamine during the arrest.
