Barry A. Deacon, 34, of Ingleside.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said that an Ingleside man wanted since January for allegedly sexually assaulting a teen girl has been captured.

Barry A. Deacon, 34, of the 35600 block of North Greenleaf Avenue in Ingleside, had active warrants for two counts of criminal sexual assault, two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and two counts of failure of a sex offender to report a change of address.

Lake County Sheriff’s Sgt. Christopher Covelli said that a tipster contacted the sheriff’s office on Saturday and told them that Deacon was at his former residence on Greenleaf Avenue in Ingleside.

Police found Deacon inside the home and arrested him without incident.

On January 15, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office announced that Deacon was wanted for allegedly sexually assaulting a teen girl, who was between the age of 13 and 16, while she was visiting relatives at Deacon’s residence in Ingleside.
