A 22-year-old who was in his bedroom was seriously injured after a gunman shot him from outside the home early Monday morning in Mundelein.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office was called at 2:15 a.m. Monday to a residence in the 26200 block of North Hickory Avenue in unincorporated Mundelein for a report of a person shot.
