Nicholas Wu, 26, of unincorporated Round Lake, went missing on Wednesday, police said.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 26-year-old suicidal man who went missing two days ago from his home in Round Lake.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said that Nicholas ‘Nick’ Wu, 26, of the 24900 block of West Clinton Avenue in unincorporated Round Lake, was last seen two days ago on Wednesday around 7:30 p.m.

Lake County Sheriff Spokesman Sgt. Christopher Covelli said that Wu left his home but before leaving made comments to family members that he may try harming himself.

Wu is described as having brown eyes and brown hair. He is 5-foot-10 and 210 pounds. Wu might be driving a 2004 silver Acura MDX with Illinois license plate 397606, Covelli said.

Police said that his last known clothing description is unknown. Police are asking the public to call 911 if they see Wu, his vehicle or have any information of his whereabouts.
