A woman, who worked as a therapist for Round Lake Area School District 116 last year, was identified as the body found in a vehicle last week in the Jewel-Osco parking lot in Gurnee.

Tiffany Diamond, 30, of Grayslake, was found dead June 10 in a vehicle in the parking lot of Jewel-Osco, 6509 West Grand Avenue in Gurnee.

Lake County Coroner Dr. Howard Cooper said his office conducted an autopsy on Diamond on June 11.

Cooper publicly released her identity on Monday and said that the preliminary autopsy and toxicology results were still pending so a cause of death cannot be made yet.

“We have been in close contact with Ms. Diamond’s family and our deepest condolences go out to them during this difficult time,” Cooper said.

Foul play is not suspected, Cooper said, adding that the Gurnee Police Department and the Lake County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate Diamond’s death.
