An arrest warrant has been issued for a Wisconsin man accused of stabbing a 28-year-old man multiple times during a fight in Marengo in August, police said.

Jordan J. Zobal, 25, of the 7700 block of Lathers Road in Beloit, Wisconsin, has been charged with aggravated battery, aggravated battery with a knife, battery and failure to notify after damaging an unattended vehicle.

The Marengo Police Department said that officers were flagged down near East Grant Highway and Prospect Street around 2 a.m. August 12 regarding a person stabbed.

Police found a 28-year-old man with multiple stab wounds in the 600 block of East Grant Highway. Paramedics transported the man to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Marengo Police Department said that they determined a fight between the victim and Zobal broke out. Zobal allegedly stabbed the victim at least twice in the abdomen and then fled the scene in a vehicle.

While Zobal was trying to get away, he struck an unoccupied parked car in an apartment complex parking lot, Marengo Police Officer Andrew Kjellgren said.

A warrant has been issued for Zobal, who is not in custody yet, court records show.
