The Lake Forest Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a man driving a Porsche SUV who stole thousands of dollars worth of chairs from a parking garage.

Police said that the theft occurred around 6:53 p.m. December 8 at an underground parking garage in the 900 block of North Western Avenue, which is near the intersection of East Woodland Road and Western Avenue in Lake Forest.

“We are asking for your help identifying the individual pictured in the this video,” the Lake Forest Police Department said on social media.

A white male driving a Porsche SUV was seen stealing high value chairs from a parking garage in the 900 block of North Western Avenue in Lake Forest on December 8.

 

The surveillance video shows an older model maroon Porsche Cayenne SUV driving into the parking garage before a man is seen exiting the vehicle.

He put several thousand dollars worth of chairs into his vehicle and got back into his car.

The man attempted to hide his face from the security camera as he was exiting the garage, the video shows.
