
A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man who burglarized several dorm rooms at Lake Forest College.
The Lake Forest Police Department said the man in the above surveillance photos unlawfully entered several dorm rooms at Lake Forest College, 555 North Sheridan Road, on February 10.
The burglaries occurred in the earlier afternoon hours between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The suspect stole several items, including cash and an Apple laptop, before leaving in a vehicle.
Lake County Crime Stoppers said the suspect was described as a male black in his early 20s, heavy build, wearing a New York Yankees hat, black puffy DKNY coat, green camouflage pants and tan work boots.
He fled the scene in a black Hyundai Accent with an unknown license plate, the Lake County Crime Stoppers said. Police did not specify which residence hall or halls the man entered.
