Police have called off a search for an elderly woman who went missing on Friday in Buffalo Grove after she was found Saturday afternoon.
Margarita Perales, 83, of Buffalo Grove, was reported missing to the Buffalo Grove Police Department around 12:20 a.m. Saturday, according to the Illinois State Police.
The woman was last seen at 1 Oak Creek Drive, just north of Dundee Road, in Buffalo Grove around 10:30 a.m. Friday.
Perales is a Hispanic woman who has a condition that puts her in danger. She is 5-foot-4, weighs 105 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. She has a light-brown complexion.
She was found in Grundy County around 2 p.m. Saturday. No additional information has been released.
Perales was driving a silver 2008 Toyota Corolla with Illinois license plate 3339133. Illinois State Police issued an Endangered Missing Person Advisory.
