Police are asking for the public’s help after a suspect or suspects forced entry into two Lake Forest homes and burglarized them last week.
The Lake Forest Police Department said that the first burglary occurred at a residence in the Conway Farms subdivision.
The homeowner left the home around 11:15 a.m. Thursday and then a suspect or suspects forced entry into the residence.
Several pieces of jewelry were taken in a short amount of time, police said.
The man in the above photo released by police is believed to be the suspect. He was a passenger in the mid 2000s silver Mercedes-Benz also pictured.
On Friday, a suspect or suspects forced entry into a home on Lake Forest’s east side near Lake Michigan around 9:24 p.m.
The burglar alarm was set off as the suspect(s) stole a small amount of personal items. No vehicle or suspect pictures are available from the second burglary, police said.
Anyone with information or those would like to report suspicious activity are encouraged to call the Lake Forest Police Department at 847-234-2601.
