All 22 of the vehicles burglarized were left unlocked. Video surveillance showed the offenders trying doors and leaving the vehicles that were locked undisturbed, police said.

Anyone who has information or whose vehicle was burglarized is asked to call the Zion Police Department at 847-872-8000.

Authorities said that thieves are looking for “easy targets” and ask that car owners remove their valuables, loose change, house and car keys, and lock your vehicle.
