A driver was hospitalized after authorities say a utility vehicle rolled over and he became pinned underneath it in Lake Forest on Tuesday.

The Lake Forest Police Department and Lake Forest Fire Department responded around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday to the intersection of Sheridan Road and Ringwood Road for a report of a crash with injuries.

Lake Forest Deputy Fire Chief Michael Gallo told Lake and McHenry County Scanner the crash involved a utility terrain vehicle (UTV).

A man was driving the UTV when it overturned due to slick conditions, trapping the man’s legs underneath.
