A third suspect has been charged and a fourth is sought in connection with an attempted armed robbery where a store clerk shot two of the suspects in Round Lake Beach on Monday.

Feliciyunna S. Spruille, 20, of the 700 block of Lewis Avenue in Waukegan, was charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of robbery.

A 16-year-old male was also charged with armed robbery. He is not being named since he is a juvenile, police said.

In an update Friday afternoon, Round Lake Beach Deputy Police Chief Wayne Wilde said a third suspect, identified as a male juvenile, had been located in Wisconsin and charged with armed robbery after fleeing from a getaway vehicle.

The attempted robbery occurred around 10:47 p.m. Monday at One Stop Food and Liquor, 1015 North Fairfield Road in Round Lake Beach.

Officers learned that a female suspect, identified as Spruille, and the 16-year-old boy entered the business and ordered the employees behind the counter at gunpoint, Wilde said.

During the robbery, one of the employees was able to access a firearm and shot several rounds at the suspects, striking both of them.

The suspects fled the store into a waiting vehicle, which fled the area northbound on Fairfield Road.

A perimeter was set up and a canine unit was called in to assist in the search for the driver and front passenger. They were not located in the area.

Spruille and the teen boy were transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

Spruille remains hospitalized as of Friday and will be transported to the Lake County jail once she has been released, police said.

The 16-year-old boy was released from the hospital and is being held at the Depke Juvenile Detention Center in Vernon Hills.

Wilde said the vehicle the suspects were in had been stolen out of Kenosha, Wisconsin. The incident remains under investigation by the Round Lake Beach Police Department.
