A Barrington man has been charged with murder after he allegedly shot and killed a female passenger in his vehicle near Barrington Hills and then called 911 and confessed.

The Illinois State Police District 15 responded around 1:34 a.m. Friday to Barrington Road and Palatine Road near Barrington Hills for a shooting.

A preliminary investigation showed Breseman was driving a pickup truck on the ramp from Interstate 90 westbound to Barrington Road in Cook County.

State police said that a woman, identified as Christina Czuj, 54, of Sleepy Hollow, was in the passenger seat of the truck that Breseman was driving.
