Austin J. Vesely, 27, of Marengo.

A Marengo man who pleaded guilty to impregnating a 15-year-old girl in 2015 has been sentenced to probation again after he had contact with a different underage girl in violation of his sex offender status.

Austin J. Vesely, 27, of the 700 block of Woodland Lane in Marengo, was charged in December 2019 with one count of child sex offender communicating by internet with a minor, a Class 4 felony, and one count of violating an order of protection, a Class 4 felony.

Vesely allegedly used the internet to communicate with a 16-year-old girl in August 2019, violating his sex offender requirements and an order of protection.

On Friday, the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office offered Vesely a plea deal.

In exchange for him pleading guilty to violating an order of protection, prosecutors dropped the other felony charge against the man.

Vesely will be on probation for two years and is required to pay $3,190 in court fees and fines. He will also receive 180 days of credit for time served in the county jail.

Vesely has been a registered sex predator since 2015 after he pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual abuse of a child. In that case, Vesely impregnated a 15-year-old girl while he was 20 years old, court documents show.

McHenry County Judge Sharon Prather sentenced Vesely to two years of probation and ordered him not to have any contact with the victim. He later violated the no contact order and was re-sentenced to three years in prison.
