A Beach Park man who received probation for possessing child pornography was sentenced to more than three years in prison after admitting to violating the probation.
Torian L. Rodez, 31, of the 38300 block of Imperial Lane in Beach Park, was indicted in May 2013 on one count of possession of child pornography, a Class 2 felony.
According to a criminal complaint filed in 2013, Rodez, who is a former Crystal Lake resident, possessed a video depicting a female child engaged in an act of sexual conduct with a man.
The McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office said that Rodez was placed on probation in September 2018 after pleading guilty to the charge.
He did not comply with the terms of his sentence and a McHenry County judge revoked the sentence.
Rodez admitted to violating the terms of his probation, the state’s attorney’s office said.
McHenry County Judge Michael Coppedge sentenced the man to three years and six months in the Illinois Department of Corrections on Friday.
The case was investigated by members of the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by Dan Wilbrandt of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
