28-year-old man who went missing last year from his Waukegan home remains missing

Eric Dion Green Jr., 28, of Waukegan.

A 28-year-old man who went missing last summer from his Waukegan home and could be in danger remains missing months later, police said.

Eric Dion Green Jr., 28, of Waukegan, was last seen leaving his family’s residence in Waukegan.

Green has mental illness which may put him in danger, according to a flyer from the Missing Persons Awareness Network.

Waukegan Police Department Commander Edgar Navarro told Lake and McHenry County Scanner that Green was last seen in June.

However, the Missing Persons Awareness Network said in their flyer that Green was last seen in August. It is unclear which date is correct.

Navarro said that while Green was last seen in June, he had not been officially reported missing to the Waukegan Police Department until March 11.

Green is described as a male Black, 5-foot-7, 130 pounds, with brown eyes and medium brown hair with braids.

The Missing Persons Awareness Network said that Green may have his black and gray duffle bag with him.

Navarro said that there is no evidence of foul play at this time.
