No injuries were reported but both lanes of Route 47 in Woodstock were closed for two hours after a truck crashed into a utility pole Thursday morning.

The Woodstock Fire/Rescue District and Woodstock Police Department responded around 7:39 a.m. Thursday to the 500 block of North Eastwood Drive for a vehicle crash.

Emergency crews received a call for a vehicle accident that involved utility wires down, fire officials said.

Firefighters arrived to find a red pickup truck that had collided and seriously damaged a utility pole.

The Woodstock Fire/Rescue District said the damaged utility pole created a hazardous condition across the roadway.
